Class Policies
Class Registration and Cancellations: Class space is reserved upon receipt of payment. Payment of the class fee is required by all persons attending the class. Please choose your classes carefully. There are no refunds, unless the class is canceled by Eclectica. If this should happen, you will be notified at the phone number you provided, and you will have a choice of a refund or store credit in the form of a gift certificate. If you need to cancel, please be aware: All classes require a 7 day cancellation notice. If sufficient notice is given, you will receive a store credit in the form of a gift certificate. Less than a 7 day notice will result in forfeiture of 50% of the class fee and the balance will be issued in the form of a gift certificate. Failure to notify will result in a forfeiture of entire class fee.
Minimum Age Requirement: The minimum age for classes without a parent or guardian is 16 years old. Children 12 years old and older may register and attend with an adult. The adult must also be registered for the class. Children under 12 years old are not allowed in class.
Tools: Tools are not provided, unless noted after specific classes. Please bring all necessary tools, or purchase them prior to class.

PMC Level I: Introduction to Metal Clay
Date: March 16 & 17, 2012
Time: Friday 10:00am-7:00pm & Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm
Description: In this two day class the student will create eight metal clay projects while exploring a variety of basic techniques, such as rolling out clay, texturing, using syringe, making hollow forms, using sheet, and setting CZs. This class is designed by Irina Miech and is recognized by the PMC Guild.
Class fee: $375 (includes ALL supplies, materials, tool kit and a copy of Metal Clay for Beaders).

Level III: Advanced Metal Clay
Date: Coming Soon!
Time: Friday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00p.m. & Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Description: In this two day class the student will learn advanced metal clay techniques, including how to make a hinged pendant, applying gold leaf to a metal clay pendant, enameling, and advanced ringmaking and stone setting techniques. This class is designed by Irina Miech and recognized by the PMC Guild.
Tools: Bring tool kit from Level I Introduction to Metal Clay class.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level II Intermediate Metal Clay class.

Level IV: Advanced Metal Clay

Description: In this two day class the student will learn advanced metal clay techniques, including advanced ringmaking and stone setting, advanced hollow form and syringe work techniques. This class is designed by Irina Miech and recognized by the PMC Guild.
Tools: Tool kit from Level I certification.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level III certification.

Level II: Intermediate Metal Clay, April 20 & 21, 2012
Date: April 20 & 21, 2012
Time: Friday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00p.m. & Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Description: In this two day class, the student will create six projects and learn how to create a bezel for a natural stone pendant, a prong setting for a large CZ, and how to use sheet as a CZ setting. The student will also create a hollow constructed bead and make earrings using a mold. This class is designed by Irina Miech and recognized by the PMC Guild.
Cost: $375 (includes ALL supplies and Irina's second book, More Metal Clay for Beaders).
Tools: Tool kit from Level I certification.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level I certification.
